Delivered in a suitcase with mic clips and a stereo rail for a variety of stereo recording options, this matched pair of dark bronze Microtech Gefell M 310 Small-Diaphragm Supercardioid Condenser Microphones with Basic Accessories features two microphones designed for accurate reproduction of solo instruments and vocals in live stage applications and home, project, and commercial recording studios.

The unique mic capsule features a 16mm gold-sputtered Mylar diaphragm and is constructed from ceramic rather than metal to ensure consistent performance at a variety of temperatures. The capsule is protected by a triple-layer wire-mesh grille at the front and a dual-layer mesh for the rear-entry ports. The pressure-gradient design and supercardioid polar pattern focus audio capture tightly on the source, helping to reject unwanted off-axis sounds for less bleed from other instruments or sound-reinforcement equipment. Transformerless circuitry yields low noise and contributes to a high dynamic range of 131 dB. This matched pair allows for a wide variety of stereo miking configurations.
