Microtech Gefell M330 Overview
The dark bronze Microtech Gefell M 330 is a small-diaphragm, wide-cardioid condenser microphone designed for accurate reproduction of solo instruments and vocals in live stage applications and home, project, and commercial recording studios. The pressure-gradient design and wide-cardioid polar pattern lightly reject unwanted off-axis sounds. Transformerless circuitry yields low noise and contributes to a high dynamic range of 131 dB.
The 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response features a gentle treble boost to increase clarity and presence. An XLR 3-pin output with gold-plated contacts ensures standardized connectivity and 48 VDC phantom powering provides battery-free operation. The M 330 includes a wood box for safe storage and transport.
