The MM-BSM-8 In-Ear Binaural Stereo Microphones from Microphone Madness are binaural in-ear stereo microphones that terminate with a 1/8 stereo mini-jack connector. They can be used to capture audio that replicates human hearing with authentic, true-to-life stereo imagery for audio recorders supplying a bias voltage of between 1.5 to 10 VDC (also known as plug-in power). In addition, the microphones do not block your hearing ability.
These microphones are designed to be worn like headphones to achieve the most accurate stereo placement possible and offer a naturally crisp sound, providing deep bass, smooth mid-range, and clean high-frequencies for detailed recordings. The MM-BSM-8 In-Ear Binaural Stereo Microphones are compatible with (but not limited to) the following recorders: Edirol R9, Kodak Zi8 HD pocket video camera, Olympus DS-40, Olympus LS-10, Tascam DR-01, Tascam DR-03, Tascam DR-07, Yamaha CX, Zoom H1, Zoom H2, and Zoom H4N.
Stereo In-Ear Design
The binaural design of the microphones allows both capsules to mount in-ear to recreate the stereo perspective achieved by human hearing.
Single 1/8 (3.5mm) Output
Both elements feature shielded cables and terminate to a single stereo 1/8 output connector. The connector is compatible with microphone inputs that supply a bias voltage of 1.5 to 10 VDC (also known as plug-in power).
Compatible Recorders
