Designed to pick up two discrete sound sources and output them to one mono destination, the Savage Dual Head Lapel Microphone offers two omnidirectional capsules with a 24 cable in between them. This makes it easy to pin each mic to an interview subject and take a single output to a variety of destinations. As such, the Dual Head Lapel Microphone is suitable for ENG and field-recording applications.
The microphone terminates in a single 3.5mm TRS connection. However, if you want to use the microphone with a modern GoPro camera, a USB adapter has been provided. Likewise, if you want to use the microphone with smartphones or DSLR cameras, a TRS to 3.5mm TRRS adapter is included. You ll also note the padded carry bag for transportation, two low-profile windsocks, and two artificial-fur windsocks for use in high-wind environments.
