Spruce up the sound of your skateboarding videos with the VX Skateboard Camera Mic from Wooden Camera. For use with modern cameras, the VX emulates the legendary sound of the Sony VX1000 s built-in microphone. The VX s design incorporates four microphone capsules arranged in the same orientation as those of the VX1000 and a digital signal processor designed to recreate the VX1000 s frequency filtering and compression.
The included 3.5mm TRS coiled cable connects the VX mic to DSLRs, handycams, RED DSMC2s, and other cameras with 3.5mm stereo inputs. Cameras with two XLR inputs require a separately available adapter. The microphone runs on an internal LiPo battery that provides more than 48 hours of continuous operation and is charged using the included USB Type-C wall adapter. A shoe mount on the bottom of the mic attaches to standard camera hot shoes and also has a center 1/4 -20 thread for attaching to optional articulating arms.
