Offering a warm, full sound that s ideal for vocals and solo instruments, the Microtech Gefell CMV 563 - M 7 S is a reissue of the classic CMV 563 tube microphone. It features the M 7 S large-diaphragm condenser capsule with a PVC membrane and a cardioid polar pattern and the specially selected EF 86 vacuum preamp tube.

Thanks to the inclusion of a G/B bayonet adapter, the CMV 563 - M 7 S may be used with vintage capsules such as the M 7, M 8, and M 9, greatly increasing its versatility for studio recording. The microphone connects to the power supply unit via a 7-pin cable, while a 3-pin XLR output is provided on the power supply for connection to your mic preamp.

The supplied elastic suspension securely holds the CMV 563 - M 7 S and mitigates the transfer of vibrations and stand handling noise. An aluminum case is provided to house the microphone, power supply, and other included components.
