The MA-1000 Signature Series Multi-Pattern Tube Microphone from Mojave Audio draws inspiration from some of yesterday s most revered microphones. It can be used to capture audio in several environments for applications such as vocals, voice-overs, broadcast TV, piano, orchestral recordings, and more.
Technical Grammy Award-winning designer David Royer has created a modern tube microphone that features an original NOS 5840 tube, a 251-style capsule, and a custom-designed transformer built by Coast Magnetics. The result is a sweet and airy, top-end sounding, you-are-there realism in the midrange, and an accurate yet authoritative bottom end.
Furthermore, the tube microphone can be remotely controlled and has a continuously variable polar-pattern selector on the power supply. Some other features include: Switchable 15 db pad, bass roll-off internal switchable power supply Mogami cables and Neutrik connectors.
Finally, the microphone comes with a carrying case, power supply, shockmount and cables.
