4-Channel Ultra-High-Performance True-Diversity Receiver in Half-Rack Size
Made with portability in mind, the Sound Devices A20-Nexus Go is a professional true-diversity digital wireless receiver that won't weigh you down when you're doing bag work. It comes with four receiver channels and can be expanded to six and eight channels via software license (available separately) without additional hardware. And when you need to transition to a rack or cart, the A20-Nexus Go receiver's 1 RU, half-rack size will save you space there too.
The A20-Nexus Go receiver is packed with features to speed up your workflow, whether you're working in the field on a production set. With a wide SpectraBand tuning range of 169 to 1525 MHz you can reliably find open spectrum, even in the busiest VHF and UHF TV band. AutoAssign enables automatic deployment of clean frequencies in seconds, while the Integrated Real Time Spectrum Analyzer (RTSA) and scanning functions provide fast and intuitive frequency coordination for multiple transmitters. And with long-range NexLink remote control and GainForward, you can conveniently set your transmitter level and make adjustments directly from the A20-Nexus Go receiver, without having to go to the talent.
Offering mic, line, and AES3 audio outputs, along with flexible power via DC input, 8-Series, or AC mains (with optional adapter), the A20-Nexus Go can seamlessly adapt to your workflow and is equally at home in a rack, bag, or docked to an 8-Series mixer recorder for cable-free operation.
SpectraBand + Real Time Spectral Analysis
- SpectraBand technology delivers a VHF + UHF tuning range of 169 to 1525 MHz in a single unit.
- Experience ultimate flexibility as you find open spectrum away from the crowded UHF TV band. The included A20-Monarch antennas can receive the 470 to 1525 MHz range, and the A-VHF-Dipole-BNC antennas (available separately) cover the 169 to 236 MHz VHF range, keeping your kit small and tidy.
- In addition, with the Integrated Real Time Spectrum Analyzer (RTSA), the days of waiting for a scan to complete are over. Instantly visualize the RF spectrum around you in real time and coordinate frequencies, all while monitoring audio.
GainForward Transmitter Control
- Use the GainForward architecture on the A20-TX or A20-Mini transmitters (available separately) to easily set the transmitter's gain, low-cut, and limiter directly on your A20-Nexus Go receiver or Series-8 mixer-recorder.
- This immediate, local control of gain means never having to adjust the gain on the talent again.
NexLink Remote Control
- By utilizing the NexLink protocol, the A20-Nexus Go receiver offers full long-range remote control of transmitters even in the presence of on-set 2.4 GHz interference.
- NexLink's advanced long-distance modulation reaches even farther than the transmitter's long-range wireless audio transmission.
AutoAssign Function
- Save time on set. The AutoAssign function automatically scans the current tuning band for clean frequencies and assigns them to multiple channels.
- The clean frequencies are then automatically pushed to transmitters linked to the NexLink protocol. This is all done with one button in mere seconds.
