AKG DMS100 Digital Wireless Instrument System (2.4 GHz)

The system includes a 1/4 to TA3F instrument cable and a lightweight bodypack transmitter that will operate for up to 12 hours on two AA batteries. The TA3M connector on the transmitter can also accommodate a wide variety of AKG lavalier and headset mics (available separately) for performers and presenters.

The DMS100 uses a preset selection of four color-coded frequencies in the 2.4 GHz range, allowing you to choose the clearest channel for transmission and leaving the remaining ones available for use with up to three additional systems (available separately). The tabletop receiver offers a range of up to 100 and provides XLR and 1/4 outputs to connect to a mixer or PA system. A universal AC power adapter and two AA batteries are included. A rackmounting kit for the receiver is available separately.

2.4 GHz Operation

The AKG DMS100 digital wireless system operates anywhere in the world using the 2.4 GHz band common to Wi-Fi equipment and other digital gear. No license is required to operate the system, no matter where you are.

Plug and Play

The DMS100 system is designed from the ground up for intuitive operation. Channel pairing is push-button painless, with color coding for easy identification. Adaptive channel selection takes the guesswork out of locating available wireless channels by offering you four fixed channels to work with. Up to four DMS100 systems can be paired and used together simultaneously. If you need more channels, then you can step up to the DMS300 which offers 8 preset frequencies, external antennas, and a high-resolution LCD screen.

Enjoy pristine, studio-quality sound: the bodypack offers 24-bit, 48 kHz resolution and a linear frequency response. The bodypack is instrument-ready and can be used with an optional AKG headset or lavalier microphone (sold separately). Musicians will appreciate the ultralow latency of less than 2.9ms, helping them to keep accurate timing.
