BOYA BY-XM6 MINI Overview

Featuring a mini transmitter with an ultracompact form factor, the BOYA BY-XM6-S1 Mini Ultracompact Wireless Microphone System is designed to capture audio in vlogs or interviews with a single subject using your compatible camera, smartphone, or other recording device. The system includes one mini clip-on transmitter with built-in omnidirectional microphone and a dual-channel receiver with a 3.5mm TRS connection. Using the built-in 2.4 GHz wireless frequency, the components can communicate from up to 328' away without obstruction. An OLED screen on the receiver allows you to monitor battery life and signal strength while toggling recording modes and mute. The system also includes a furry windscreen, 3.5mm TRS cable, 3.5mm TRS to TRRS cable, two USB-C charging cables, and a pouch to carrying it all in.

Wide Compatibility

• The 3.5mm TRS output on the receiver unit can be used with included cables to record audio to your DSLR/mirrorless camera, compatible smartphone, or other audio recorder.
• A built-in back clip on the receiver can attach to your cinematographer or slide into any cold shoe mount to turn the unit into a camera-mountable device.

Real-Time Monitoring

Use the 3.5mm TRS headphone port on the receiver to monitor the quality of your sound recording in real time. This ensures your levels are up to par in the field. Use the included furry windscreen with the transmitter to prevent noise disturbances from windy outdoor conditions.

Ultracompact Clip-On Transmitter

Measuring less than 2" long, the ultracompact transmitter is lightweight and small for low-profile recording. An integrated omnidirectional microphone with condenser capsule captures crisp audio in your next vlog. A built-in back clip easily attaches the transmitter to your talent's lapel.

Onboard Controls

The receiver features an OLED screen which displays pairing status, connection, and battery level, as well as what recording mode you are in-mono or stereo. The transmitter features an LED indicator to display pairing status, mute, and battery level. All units have onboard controls to facilitate functions like mute and select recording modes. You can also use the controls on your transmitter to adjust the 6 levels of gain.

Built-In Rechargeable Batteries

Built-in lithium-ion batteries in each component can be recharged using their USB-C connections and the included cables. The transmitter can run for up to 4.5 hours, while the receiver can run for 7 hours.
