TAMA HTW839W Overview
The Roadpro Series HTW839W from TAMA is a road-worthy double tom stand designed to securely hold two drums and let you position them exactly where you want them.
The HTW839W features the company s Stilt base which allows for back-and-forth adjustment without having to move the entire stand. The Omni-Ball adjustment system lets you position each tom individually at almost any angle, by loosening just one nut.
The stand is equipped with a Glide-Tite grip joint which helps isolate the drums from the stand, allowing them to resonate naturally. The tripod base, with double-braced legs, gives the HTW839W increased stability for hard-hitting drummers or for holding extra weight.
Stilt System

- Threaded steel insert nut inside tripod base provides increased strength and makes stripping much less likely than with traditional method of cutting threads directly into die-cast section
Glide-Tite Grip Joint
- Glide-Tite Grip Joint allows for a more secure attachment by using a metal-to-metal contact point which provides a solid anchor and complete isolation for a tom or cymbal
- Because the stand does not move with the tom or cymbal, the natural resonance of that instrument is maximized
