Get the best of analog and digital worlds with the Roland VAD506 V-Drums Acoustic Design Kit, a drum set that combines the feel and look of acoustic drums with the synthetic versatility of electronic drums. This is a full size kit, with full-depth wooden shells that feel quite similar to acoustic drums.

The kit includes a 14" PDA-140DS digital snare, one 10" PDA100-MS tom, one 12" PDA120-MS tom, one 14" PDA140F-MS floor tom, one 12" VH-10 hi-hat, one 14" CY-14C-T crash, one 16" CY-16R-T ride, one 18" CY-18DR ride, and a 20" KD-200-MS kick drum. The components mount on included double-braced chrome stands and a drum boom stand that provide the authentic look of an acoustic kit.

Sounds are provided by the TD-27 Drum Sound Module which stores 100 drum kits (55 presets) and 728 individual instruments. Each instrument can be customized with compression, EQ, reverb, and multieffects. Play along to songs with the onboard song player, and import your own songs and sounds for practicing and jamming via an SD or SDHC card (available separately).

MIDI is also supported via USB and dedicated I/O, allowing you to sync with other MIDI devices and trigger sounds in computer software.
