Designed for aspiring, younger classical guitar players and those who prefer a smaller instrument, the ProtA©gA© Series C1M 1/2from Cordoba is a 1/2-size nylon-string classical guitar with a natural, matte polyurethane finish. It utilizes a traditional, classical build with fan bracing, featuring a spruce top with mahogany back and sides. Aesthetics such as a traditional rosette and black ABS binding are also incorporated.
The guitar s mahogany neck sports a C-shaped profile, with a 22.8 ? scale and a rosewood fingerboard with 19 frets. At the headstock, Cordoba gold tuning machines with pearl buttons secure the strings, providing a gear ratio of 14:1 and a string-roller spacing of 35mm. A rosewood bridge anchors the strings to the body. An adjustable dual-action truss rod is also included to help keep the neck straight.
