Ibanez PCBE14MH Acoustic-Electric Bass (Weathered Black Open Pore)
Make your low notes heard either acoustically or plugged into an amplifier with the Ibanez PCBE14MH Acoustic-Electric Bass, presented here in a Weathered Black Open Pore finish. With its grand concert body shape and okoume construction, the instrument presents a sonorous tone. Plug it into amplifiers thanks to its on-board preamp and built-in 1/4 endpin jack, or play it acoustically in any unplugged ensemble.
Neck Features
In addition to its okoume top, back, and sides, the instrument provides a 31.9 scale maple neck and a 20-fret laurel fingerboard.
Tuners and Bridge
Chrome die-cast tuners secure the strings to the headstock, and a laurel bridge with Ibanez bridge pins keep strings in place on the body.
Built-In Preamp
The instrument has an undersaddle pickup and an Ibanez AEQ-2T preamp. You ll also find a built-in tuner, so you don t have to buy one separately. The electronics are powered by a single 9V battery.
