Packing high-quality audio looping and sampling into a highly compact, yet durable aluminum stompbox, the AFX Broken Record from Fishman sports up to 6 minutes of pristine, 24-bit / 44.1 kHz audio recording and 32-bit DSP, which can be easily manipulated with the intuitive footswitch control and selectable looping or sampling modes. Like all AFX pedals, the Broken Record features an innovative dual-path output that lets you connect TRS cables to your pedal and send your signal over two different effect loops, Tip or Ring.

Looper mode lets you record, play back, and endlessly overdub to create multi-layered audio loops. On the other hand, Sample mode is designed to play audio once without looping. You can switch between Looper and Sampler modes if you want to simply play a recording once and have it stop automatically.
