Particularly suited to metal and hard rock genres, the RGA42FM from Ibanez is a solid-body electric guitar with a meranti body, a sculpted flamed-maple top, and a Blue Lagoon Burst Flat finish. Its bolt-on, Wizard III maple neck features a 25.5 ? scale, as well as a jatoba fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets and off-set white dot inlays.
For electronics, the guitar is outfitted with two Quantum humbucking pickups in the neck and bridge positions. Master tone and volume knobs offer broad control over the timbre and level of the instrument, while a five-way pickup selector is wired for series, parallel, and split configurations for a variety of tonal options.
