Generate crystal-clear clock-synced delay for looping, echoes, sound-on-sound, Karplus Strong synthesis, and more with the 4ms Looping Delay DIY Kit, a do-it-yourself Eurorack compatible clock-based delay module designed for creative synthesis.

Not a tape or analog emulation, but a modern digital delay, the Looping Delay combines features of delay, looping, and sample-tight synchronization for powerful and dynamic sound capture and modification. Based on the Dual Looping Delay, the Looping Delay offers the same high-quality sound in a smaller, single-channel format. The Looping Delay Kit includes all the components needed to complete the module as well as a black panel.

Full DIY Kit

• Includes all the parts necessary to build a full-featured Looping Delay module
• Beginner-level kit: Soldering proficiency required
• Tools needed (not included):
  • Soldering iron, solder
  • Flush snips
  • Needle-nose pliers (for removing a component if you make a mistake)
  • 5/16" and 3/8" socket driver (optional: pliers will work too if you`re careful)
  • Multimeter (for reading resistor values if you don`t know the resistor color-code chart)

Overview

• Stereo or mono mode (Return/Send becomes right channel In/Out in stereo mode)
• 87 seconds maximum delay/loop time in mono, or 43 seconds in stereo.
• 48 kHz / 24-bit sampling rate, loop recorded at 16-bit
• Extremely quiet, low noise, low jitter design
• Delay and loop time is syncable to a clock, or a division or multiplication of a clock
• Infinite Hold mode for looping and windowing
• Reverse feature for toggling direction of playback
