Yamaha Survival Kit D2 - Accessory Package

I purchased the piano for my younger sister, who was interested in learning to play. The keys are very sensitive and the keyboard as a whole feels very sturdy. The speakers built into the piano are fine for practice, but still leave a bit more to be wanted. My sister currently uses a pair of headphones when she plays. If considering this piano, look into a good pair of headphones with a 1/4 jack. I havent had the chance to check out the training DVD that comes with the Yamaha Survival Kit D2 - Accessory Package, hopefully that has some good tips in it. Most likely just going to find a few videos on Youtube.

This kit is needed to run the keyboard, why it is not included? Perhaps to keep the up front price looking lower. The sustain pedal is sub standard but this kit came in a good bundle price.

You're better off getting this kit than buying the required pieces separately. First off you'll need a power cable so you can connect your piano to wall outlet which isn't included. It comes with a pedal, earphones and other bonus and coupons.

I ordered my digital piano--and this kit--on the Saturday night before Christmas. It arrived the following Tuesday! The speed with which the products were shipped and delivered was phenomenal--the products themselves even more so.The headphones have a great and pristine sound to them. They're definitely of great quality, and super comfortable for extended periods of wear, unlike a lot of other and more popular (and more expensive!) keyboard headsets.After two weeks of ownership and about 50-60 hours of usage, my sustain pedal stopped working. The polarity of the pedal was not the problem and I was unsure of how to go about fixing it, so I sent a quick e-mail to Customer Service. Within an hour, I received two response emails: the first, informing me that the issue would be investigated and shortly afterward, a second email was sent to confirm the shipment of a replacement survival kit. I was beyond impressed at the generosity, understanding, and assistance of the customer service staff at. That's definitely something to be applauded here, and isn't something I think I would have experienced with another company.
