The original IR3109 had some drawbacks, which were addressed in the new design, such as a volume drop compensation circuit when using resonance as well as a built-in VCA for more versatility in compact setups. Additionally, 1V/oct tuning is implemented, so you can use this module for perfect VCF keyboard tracking and also as a VCO. The module includes a power ribbon cable and a set of mounting screws.
