Modular synthesizer enthusiasts looking for an authentic emulation of the famous Russian Polivoks synthesizer will be impressed with the erica synths Black Polivoks VCF V2, a Eurorack compatible module that s based off of the original Formanta Radio Factory Polivoks (BP/LP) filter.
The module uses the original Russian ICs with a modified design, which makes it more compatible with contemporary modular synthesizers. The modifications include independent buffered inputs, an extended cutoff knob, silent filter mode switching (BP/LP), and an output stage to eliminate signal inversion. The result is a much punchier bass sound and very smooth controls. The module includes a ribbon power cable and mounting screws.
