Resurrecting the lush, wide sound of the legendary Dimension D, the 3RD DIMENSION BBD-320 from Klark Teknik is an all-analog 2 RU rack processor that offers a distinctive chorus effect, which adds space to any sound. Featuring an authentic analog BBD chip just like the original, the 3RD DIMENSION offers a vital studio utility.

Whether you are looking to add subtle warble to instruments and voices or create thick, ultrawide layers, the 3RD DIMENSION BBD-320 delivers the chorus sound you're looking for with four levels of intensity via push buttons, which can be stacked for even more nuance. A 10-segment LED meter lets you keep precise measurement of your signals. The rear panel sports servo-balanced stereo XLR and 1/4" TRS connectors with a switch for selecting between stereo or dual-mono operation. And with a Remote 1/4" input on the front, you can control your 3RD DIMENSION with an external footswitch.

Legendary '80s Studio Effect

The BBD-320's sound effects utilize authentic bucket-brigade (BBD) technology, maintaining the quality of the '80s circuitry that made the original Dimension D famous, and opening the door to some rich chorus sounds that can spice up any guitar, synth, or bass tones. It's also built with a pure analog signal path for the highest signal integrity.

The Controls

Controls on the BBD-320 are designed to be simple. No speed, tone or depth knobs here. 4 buttons are all you’ re going to need to get some really great chorus tones.

• Press two buttons at once to stack choruses
• Remotely switch the chorus on or off via an external footswitch

On the back, you'll find the BBD-320's servo-balanced inputs and outputs with 1/4" TRS and gold-plated XLR connectors. You can also switch the BBD-320 to either stereo or mono. Use stereo to transform dull or monophonic signals into spatialized stereo, or use the mono setting to send two mono signals to two different destinations.
