• What differentiates the KH 150 AES67 from its smaller siblings is its deeper bass response down to 39 Hz. That's almost as low as the larger KH 310, which is made possible by the KH 150 AES67's novel 6.5 high-precision woofer in a carefully designed bass reflex cabinet.
• The KH 150 AES67 is ideally suited to urban music, EDM, film scoring, and all styles that require extended low-end and/or elevated listening levels.
• Thanks to powerful amplifiers (145W/100W) and sophisticated protection limiters, no clarity is lost even at high SPLs.

Ready for Your Room

• Even the best loudspeaker only sounds as good as the acoustic environment allows. Neumann's Mathematically Modeled Dispersion (MMD) waveguide guarantees a wide sweet spot and minimizes desk reflections. But the KH 150 AES67 goes much further its internal DSP allows for room calibration using Neumann's revolutionary Automatic Monitor Alignment system.
• The MA 1 (sold separately) makes sure your DSP-powered monitors are optimally adapted to your room's characteristics and perfectly calibrated for your listening position. Even in acoustically treated rooms, this results in a huge improvement.

AES67 Audio Over IP

Additionally, the KH 150 AES67 variant offers integrated redundant AES67 audio network ports that are fully compliant with broadcast standards such as ST 2110, ST 2022-7 redundancy, and RAVENNA. The KH 150 AES67 is also compatible with DANTE-generated AES67 network streams.

Energy Efficient

Neumann engineers painstakingly worked to develop patent-pending amplifier technology that combines superior audio performance with Class-D energy efficiency. Although the KH 150 AES67's amplifiers deliver up to 145W to the 6.5" woofer and 100W to the 1" tweeter, they only consume 17W at idle. And an optional auto-standby mode can be enabled to reduce power consumption to 0.3W when the KH 150 AES67 is not in use.

Neumann MA 1 Monitor Alignment Microphone and Calibration System

The Neumann MA 1 Monitor Alignment Microphone and Calibration System is designed to help engineers, musicians, and producers get more accurate and sonically consistent mixes from their Neumann KH 80 DSP monitors or non-DSP KH-Series monitors when used with the KH 750 DSP subwoofer. The system uses an omnidirectional measurement mic and a downloadable software for Mac and Windows with Fraunhofer IIS algorithms to calibrate and adjust the phase and amplitude of the speakers to compensate for room imperfections.

The system is easy to use simply connect the balanced outputs of your audio interface or monitor controller to your KH monitors. Connect the ethernet ports of your DSP-based monitors into a network switcher (available separately) and then route the switcher output into your computer. Plug the calibration mic into a mic input on your interface (48V phantom power is required) and follow the calibration process in your software. An SG105 mic clip is included to mount the microphone to a stand.

The MA 1 software algorithms use the measurements to adjust the speaker settings to a room-specific target curve that compensates for the room's acoustic flaws. All the correction parameters are stored in the DSP speaker, so it's always there without having to worry about plug-ins and driver issues. In addition, once calibrated, you won't need the ethernet connection.
