With hybrid Class-AB and Class-D amplification and a powerful three-way speaker configuration consisting of 3 and 1.1 soft dome mid-frequency and high-frequency drivers and one custom 10 Quested low-frequency driver, the VQ3110 delivers a highly linear response, a dynamic natural soundstage, and an ability to handle very demanding audio material while maintaining a flat frequency response down to 30 Hz.

The VQ3110 provides HF and MF contour control, LF compensation control, and input level control, as well as two crossover points at 650 Hz and 2.5 kHz. The high maximum SPL of 115.5 dB (121.5 dB per pair) can handle extremely powerful audio content, and the monitor sports vital thermal and overload protections, as well as a subsonic filter at 14 Hz for further protection of your drivers (and ears). The combo 1/4 -XLR input also allows for convenient connection options. The VQ3110 can operate at 115 or 230 VAC, providing global power compatibility.
Filters
The VQ3110 sports a number of filters for delivering optimal sound quality including:
- User selectable 4-position LF EQ with -9 or -3 dB for cutting below 100 Hz, and +1 dB for lifting above 80 Hz
- User selectable 3-position MF EQ with cut and lift of ±1 dB at 650 Hz to 2.5 kHz
- User selectable 3-position HF EQ with cut and lift of ±1 dB at 2.5 to 40 kHz
- Subsonic filter of -3 dB at 14 Hz, 24 dB per octave
- Crossover points at 650 Hz and 2.5 kHz, 24 dB per octave
Indicators
The Quested VQ3110 includes several LED indicators including:
- Front-mounted flashing blue LED for applied power and warm-up cycle
- Front-mounted constant blue LED indicates optimum performance
- Flashing red LED on the front indicates signal is 0.5 dB below clipping
- A red LED on the front turns solid red when thermal protection is active, muting the signal and switching the amp to standby mode as it begins a cooling cycle
