The UV1 utilizes a Midas-designed preamplifier with +48V phantom power and an ultralow noise, high-gain output. The integrated sound processing includes a compressor with drive and density controls, a de-esser with frequency and threshold controls, a dynamics enhancer for dialing in high- and low-frequency detail, and an expander gate, which automatically removes unwanted surrounding noise. The rear panel also includes insert (send and return) connectors for adding additional outboard gear to your signal chain.
