Arturia 1090-31 Overview

The ARP 2600 V3 from Arturia is a software recreation of the ARP 2600 analog synthesizer. The combination of semimodular architecture and fixed preset routing gave the original synth the reputation of being one of the most versatile electronic instruments of the 1970s. It can be operated with or without patch cords, since all of the functions are internally wired and can be controlled via sliders and switches.

Supplementing the ARP 2600s original functions, the software provides MIDI control, polyphony, and the ability to save and recall presets. Additionally, four tracking generators and the step sequencer allow for animating sounds, while the multimode filter and output audio effects add new possibilities not found in the original hardware. This virtual instrument can operate in standalone mode or as a plug-in within your DAW on the AAX Native, AU, VST2, VST3, and NKS platforms.
