The Triton AirHead is an inline passive XLR microphone attenuator. Simply connect the AirHead between your mic`s XLR connector and XLR cable, or between your XLR cable and preamp, to reduce the microphone signal level by a fixed amount of -15 dB. This gives your preamp more headroom to work, helping to prevent clipping and allowing the preamp`s sonic character to shine through.
