The receiver is packed with professional features, including one-button NFC Automatic Channel-Setting mode and Auto-Gain functions, which handle time-consuming frequency setup and mic-level adjustments for you so you`re ready to shoot two people talking simultaneously directly to your camera within seconds.

The URX-P41D offers digital signal processing for pristine audio and analog UHF transmission with true-diversity reception for reliability, even under difficult shooting conditions. It features a lightweight, low-profile design for enhanced mobility with compact camcorders and smaller DSLR/mirrorless cameras. Sony shooters can take advantage of the SMAD-P5 digital MI Shoe adapter (available separately), which provides a direct, clean digital audio connection to select Sony cameras equipped with a digital Multi Interface Shoe. The URX-P41D is backward-compatible with WL-800, UWP Series, and third-generation UWP-D transmitters.

NFC Automatic Channel-Setting Mode
Press and hold the NFC/Sync button, and the dual receiver scans for the two cleanest RF channels (one for each transmitter). Simply hold the transmitters next to the receiver; it automatically syncs up and youre good to go!

High-Gain Mode for DSLR and Mirrorless Cameras
The High-Gain mode boosts the output level of the receiver, allowing you to turn down the input gain of your DSLR/mirrorless camera to achieve an even quieter signal.

External Mic Input for Additional Wired Microphone
There is an external mic-input connector on the receiver for plugging in an additional wired microphone. It allows for up to four-channel audio recording when using a stereo microphone.

Built-In 4-Channel Mixer
The URX-P41D offers a 4-channel mixer that enables you to control your mic levels (up to four) as well as assign output 1 and/or 2 as needed.

Channel Memory Function for Fast Switching Between 4 Transmitters
The channel memory function lets you quickly switch between the grooms lav mic and the wedding guests interview mic with the press of a button. It also allows for a fast change between up to four mics in corporate presentations or quickly swapping to back-up mics.

Reliable Reception with True Diversity and All-Band Scan

To achieve stable audio, the URX-P41D employs true-diversity technology with two antennas and two independent receiver sections within the unit. Both RF signals are compared and the stronger signal is automatically selected for output reducing dropouts to a minimum (True diversity is available only in single-channel mode. In dual-channel mode, the receiver relies on antenna diversity).

The angle of the two antennas can be adjusted to further prevent signal dropouts.

Great for videographers traveling to different cities, the All-Band scanning function scans the entire spectrum of the receiver to give you the two best frequencies at your shooting location. The system offers a 72 MHz bandwidth with 2772 UHF frequencies.

Unlike with traditional analog wireless systems, The URX-P41D supplements its proven analog UHF transmission technology with a proprietary digital audio processing. Transient sounds and consonants are reproduced with greater accuracy, resulting in clear, natural sound thats intelligible and nuanced.

The URX-P41D features a robust, all-metal construction well suited for tough operating conditions.

Using the included shoemount adapter, the URX-P41D easily mounts on your camera, while adding minimal weight to your rig. Cables are included to connect to cameras equipped with either a 3.5mm or an XLR audio inputs.

Direct Digital Audio via SMAD-P5 MI Shoe Adapter

The optional SMAD-P5 digital MI Shoe adapter allows you to integrate the URX-P41D with XDCAM camcorders and select Sony cameras equipped with a digital Multi Interface Shoe.

• This setup provides a direct digital connection, skipping the receivers D/A and cameras A/D converters for superior audio quality and low noise.
• Audio information such as RF level meter, audio-mute status, and low-battery alert for the transmitters is displayed on the camera`s viewfinder.
• This cable-free configuration allows for fast setup in the field.

Multiple Powering Options

Two AA batteries (alkaline or NiMH rechargeable type) power the URX-P41D for up to 4.5 hours.

A battery count-up timer allows for accurate reading of battery running time to minute accuracy.

The URX-P41D can also be powered through its USB port, allowing it to run for numerous hours on a USB power pack or indefinitely, if you have access to AC.

With the SMAD-P5 Digital MI Shoe adapter, the URX-P41D can get power directly from Sony cameras equipped with an MI Shoe.

Cartridge-type battery cases allow for quick battery replacement on set.

Headphone Monitoring for Location Sound

If your camera doesnt have a headphone jack, Phone mode lets you monitor your sound via the receivers headphone output while recording.
