Unboxing the WMX-1

Since the transmitter comes with a belt clip, it can easily be attached to the subject`s clothing or costume. Being ultracompact and lightweight, it won`t be a bother to the talent. It offers separate mic and line inputs that enable proper connection of a microphone or a line-level source such as a camera feed.

The equally ultracompact dual-channel receiver can accommodate up to two transmitters at the same time, making it a capable device for one- or two-person shoots. It includes a belt clip and a shoe mount so you can place it on you or your camera rig, plus TRS and TRRS audio cables to allow proper hookup to your camera (via TRS) or smartphone (via TRRS).

Along with the clip-on lavalier microphone, you get a windscreen that`s designed to reduce noise from light wind, breaths, and rustling of clothes. The mic`s omnidirectional polar pattern ensures consistent voice pickup even if the mic isn`t pointed directly at the subject.

Simple Setup
