The Polsen UWM-2 2-Person Camera-Mount Wireless Omni Lavalier Microphone System provides vloggers, mobile journalists, and videographers with a clear-sounding, easy-to use, and flexible UHF system that packs a set of professional features into a cost-effective solution.

The UWM-2 includes two bodypack transmitters with omnidirectional lavalier mics, which makes this wireless system great for applications with two people talking simultaneously, like mobile journalism, dialog, and interviews. The compact-sized receiver can record directly to devices such as a mirrorless/DSLR camera, a camcorder with XLR connectors, or smartphone equipped with a headphone jack.

The system provides up to 8 hours of continuous use on AA batteries at a range up to 300`. You can choose from 100 channels to find a clean channel and avoid interference, and up to four UWM-2 systems can be deployed simultaneously in the same location if more audio channels are needed.

Two Microphones into One Receiver

• The two-channel receiver allows you to save space on your shooting rig by using a single receiver to simultaneously receive signals from the two mic/transmitters.
• The receiver features a belt clip and a shoemount adapter for your camera.
• There is also a 1/4"-20 adapter on the shoemount to attach the receiver to a stand or tripod for stationary setups.
• In the absence of a smartphone holder, the receiver can also be clamped to your smartphone using the belt clip.

Easy to Operate

• Easy-to-understand menus and controls, along with backlit LCD displays, allow you to make quick adjustments under varying lighting conditions.
• Each bodypack transmitter uses a locking 3.5mm connection to secure its lavalier mic. A short press of the power button mutes the mic between takes.
• You can activate the low-cut filter on the transmitter to minimize low noise like rumble or noise from air-conditioners units.
• A transmitter lock function helps prevent accidental changes to settings while recording is in progress.
• The receivers output can be switched between a dual-mono or stereo signal. In dual-mono mode, each mic is kept separate and recorded discretely to the left and right channels in your camera. In stereo mode, the two mics are mixed together and recorded on both the left and right channels in your camera.

100 Selectable Frequencies

• This wireless system offers 100 frequencies to choose from and avoid RF interference. A frequency status indicator shows whether a frequency is usable so you can avoid unwanted pops, clicks, dropouts, and bursts due to RF or EM interference.

Mic- and Line-Level Input Selector on Transmitters

• The UWM-2 system isnt just for speech. Both transmitters feature a line-level input that lets you wirelessly record the output of a smartphone, audio mixer, or portable recorder to your camera.
• The transmitters also feature an input gain that can be set for optimal recording depending on your source.

Adjustable Output Level on Receiver

• The receiver features an adjustable output level to deliver a robust signal to your recorder.

Headphone Monitoring

• The receivers headphone jack with volume control allows you to monitor the audio from both transmitters in real time and at a comfortable level.

Power to Spare

• The UWM-2 is best at a range of 150`, but the transmitters can broadcast up to 300` in optimum conditions. The transmitters are equipped with a selectable high and low RF transmission setting, so you can use a more powerful setting for longer distances, or a lower setting for shorter distances and longer run time.

Use Multiple UWM-2 Systems

• Up to four UWM-2 systems can be deployed simultaneously in the same location. That gives you eight separate channels of audio, great for recording live presentations, theater, or panel discussions.

Carrying Case

• The included, padded carrying case makes storing and transporting the UWM-2 easy. High-density foam cutouts protect the transmitter and receivers from bumps and impacts to withstand the rigors of field recording.
