The black Shure ADX2FD/N8CB is a digital handheld wireless microphone transmitter compatible with Axient Digital series receivers. It is ShowLink-enabled for automatic interference avoidance and real-time remote control of parameters. The transmitter also features Frequency Diversity for seamless audio in even the most challenging RF environments.

The ADX2FD/N8CB comes equipped with a Nexadyne 8/C dynamic cardioid capsule featuring an innovative Revonic dual-transducer design that uses two separate, but interdependent sets of diaphragms, voice coils, and magnets. This unique technology gives this dynamic mic a condenser-like clarity with a crisp, yet natural high-end and plenty of detail-allowing vocalists to worry less about mic technique and instead focus on delivering powerful performances. The cardioid polar pattern reduces off-axis pick up, for less bleed from other sources and fewer feedback issues.

The transmitter operates in a single 140 MHz ultrawide UHF bandwidth. It provides up to 9 hours of operation on an SB920A rechargeable battery, with a transmission range up to 330' and a selectable 2/10/50mW RF output power.
