The filter cuts the amount of light hitting the camera s sensor by 10 f-stops, allowing for long-exposure photography by letting you slow down the camera s shutter speed to a greater extent.
This filter features glass optics and a lightweight aluminum frame with efficient screw-on threading. The glass is multi-coated on both sides with a total of 16 layers of coating, which makes it waterproof, scratchproof, dustproof, and oilproof.
