Ulanzi G9-5 Metal Camera Cage for GoPro HERO9 Black
The G9-5 Metal Camera Cage from Ulanzi allows you to expand your GoPro HERO9 Black for more professional video and audio capture. The protective four-sided aluminum cage comes with a mic adapter holder and 52mm filter adapter, both removable. The mic adapter support attaches to the bottom of the cage and provides a slot for installing an optional GoPro 3.5mm Mic Adapter. The cage allows access to the camera s USB port so that you can connect the mic adapter.
A 2-prong mount is included that can be attached to the bottom of the mic adapter holder. It can alternatively be attached directly to the bottom of the cage if you remove the mic adapter holder. When both items are removed, a 1/4 -20 tripod thread is made available for mounting the cage directly on compatible mini tripods, monopods, and other supports.
The G9-5 offers a shoe mount on top for attaching accessories such as a light or mic. A shoe mount riser is included that attaches to the shoe mount to provide an elevated one instead. The higher positioning provides extra space for mics that use a windshield. The riser attaches to the shoe mount securely via a safety pin. A second shoe mount is also offered on the side of the cage.
Your HERO9 Black installs through a rear door that lifts out of the cage completely. The door also locks via a safety pin when inserted back in.
