Blackmagic Design V-Mount Battery Plate for URSA

The nice thing about it, becomes one of it's most serious flaws - I love the low profile design, however certain vmount batteries (like the IDX Cue series or similar) have Dtap on the upper right side of the battery - and the thinness of this plate makes that D-tap unusable - most because of a small design flaw with the URSA itself - where BMD decided to put the SDI outputs exactly where the dtap sits, so if you're using the 12G port, you can't fit the dtap cable into your battery. Now this would have been ok because there's an additional dtap on the opposite side of the plate itself, however, its regulated, and can not support much draw, It can only put out around 2 amps, which is not enough to power my atomos monitor - at best it'll power one of my motors and my wireless system. BMD should really consider just upping the amps on the dtap to about 6, and putting in a switch for regulated/non regulated - then this thing would be a easy 6 star rating !!!! Fingers crossed for a version 2.
