Designed to work with power supplies that output between 7 to 9 VDC, this dummy battery is suitable for use with a variety of Sony cameras that take an NP-FW50 battery. This Little Dummy battery coupler is fully decoded and will communicate with your camera, and your camera s EVF will display battery power and any warning just as if you were using an internal NP-FW50 battery. The dummy battery will connect directly to a female 5.5 x 2.1mm coaxial power port, and you can use the included female-to-female adapter for connecting it to a male power port.
Juicebox advises against using an external power source of greater than 9 VDC to avoid damaging your equipment. This dummy battery is not compatible with the Blackmagic Video Assist
