ZILR USB Type-C to Sony NP-FZ100 Regulated Dummy Battery Cable (24')

I bought another power bank with PD support and 22.5W output Baseus. My camera works, but I haven't tested it yet in a field.

I like it but very expensive for what it does. I would give it 5 stars if it was sold for around €30.

I use this with a 20,000 mAh battery to shoot lengthy astro exposures so I don't have to do hot swaps of the NP-FZ100 batteries. This unit works very well and the build quality is excellent. However, its wire is too thick to comfortably close the battery compartment door. When you feed the wire through the dedicated flap, the door *will* shut, with pressure, and stay shut under tension. But after just 10 seconds of being shut, a crimp is put in the wire that will compromise the sheath after a short while. The solution in my opinion is to remove the battery compartment door. It's very easy to do, with minimal risk, and there are YouTube videos to show you how. Just slide the black arrow up and gently pop out the door. Replacing it is the reverse procedure. Then I use blue painters tape to seal over the battery compartment to keep dust out. It's not optimal to have to use a crummy makeshift tape fix on a good camera rig. If I'm doing this all wrong, I welcome your input.
