The plate allows you to mount both the batteries onto one side, and you can mount it onto a camera or V-lock mount using the V-lock adapter on the other side. The plate features two D-Tap outputs to power additional gear, and it is hot-swappable, so if you need to charge one battery, the other battery can power your gear without interruption. Status IDs on the plate indicate if the battery is connected and providing power.
