Core SWX NANOX Overview

Power your camera, monitor, recorder, wireless equipment, or light while on a long travel shooting day with this V-mount Core SWX NANOX V150 4 x Batteries + Quad Charger + KOMODO Plate Kit put together. The kit includes four lightweight, ultracompact NANOX V150 V-mount batteries, a V-mount battery plate for the RED KOMODO cinema camera, and a GP-X4S quad charger.

Each battery features 14.8V, 150Wh capacity, supports a continuous 10A draw, and provides both a 12V D-Tap and a USB-C 100W PD output that can also be used as inputs to charge the battery. There is also one 5V USB-A port to charge smaller devices, such as a smartphone.

The GP-X4S charger features a compact design that makes it easy to travel with, and it can charge either four micro or two standard V-mount batteries. The V-mount battery plate mounts directly onto your RED KOMODO camera, provides D-Tap, USB-A, and 2-pin LEMO-type power outputs, and is hot swappable.

The lightweight, ultracompact battery features a 14.8V output and 150Wh capacity, and it supports a continuous 10A draw. The new NANOX design features a seamless EmLED digital fuel gauge display and virtually unbreakable NexCore casing to protect your battery cells and electronics from falls and extreme weather conditions. The NANOX also features Voltbridge iD, a wireless RFID technology that allows you to monitor your batteries using a smartphone app.

The battery features a USB-C PD input/output connector that provides up to 100W PD charging input or output for powering accessories or charging the battery. It provides one 12V D-Tap output to power your camera, light, or accessories, and it features one 5V USB-A port to charge smaller devices such as a smartphone. In addition to the large EmLED display, it features a wraparound 4-stage LED gauge that shows the battery level status. The V-mount model features an integrated 1/4" -20 thread on the back of the battery to provide quick and easy mounting onto a stand or rig.

EmLED Battery Display

The new NexCore housing now integrates the innovative EmLED display, providing the ability to offer unparalleled power management in its battery packs. The patent-pending EmLED display array is placed below the surface of the NexCore battery shell, ensuring not only precision with percentage readouts and accurate, to-the-minute runtime details but also worry-free durability in the most demanding production environments.

Unlike conventional displays, EmLED is shielded from inadvertent damage, allowing you to focus on your creative process without compromising on real-time power insights. While you can press the status button to turn on the display as well as toggle between percentage and runtime, the EmLED display also automatically turns on when either charged or discharged.

Wraparound LEDs

The pack comes equipped with a wraparound battery status LED gauge within its rugged polycarbonate housing. This advanced feature allows cinematographers and other industry professionals to view battery status from anywhere on set. The LED gauge provides a clear visual indication of the remaining battery life, remaining lit during charge and discharge.

A status button on the top of the pack can illuminate the LEDs to display charge status when not in use. This allows for quick and easy monitoring of battery status and ensures that it can be easily viewed from any angle.

Camera Communication

By transmitting the same information displayed on the runtime LCD to the camera, operators can view important data such as voltage, battery runtime, and percentage directly on their camera display. Lightweight and compact, the Core SWX Quad Micro Battery Fast Charger can charge either four micro or two standard-sized V-mount batteries. Two 98Wh batteries can be fast-charged at 3.0A in under 2.5 hours or four at 2.6A.

Core SWX Battery Plate for RED KOMODO (V-Mount)

Power your RED KOMODO camera as well as a monitor, recorder, light, focus motor, wireless equipment, or other accessories with this dedicated V-mount Battery Plate from Core SWX. The plate enables you to use a professional, high-capacity V-mount battery to power your camera, while leaving the camera's DC input free, enabling hot-swap battery changes with available AC power. It mounts directly onto the integrated dual BP-U battery plates on the RED KOMODO camera.

The plate features integrated D-Tap, USB Type-A, and 2-pin LEMO-style outputs to power a variety of select accessories. It also features a USB Micro-B firmware update port.
