The allows you to power your camera up to 10' away from a power source. This is useful for working on a jib or crane as you don't have to counterbalance the weight of a battery, making for a lighter load. You can also use this cable to power your camera when on a tripod or on a dolly as the 10' length is not excessively long and can be looped to shorten as needed. The cable connectors are indexed to prevent misalignment and the 8-pin LEMO is a push-pull locking connector.
