The 6 Laird Digital Cinema VMPUHD-BK-006 12G-SDI 4K UHD Midsize Video Patch Coax Cable is designed to meet today s and future broadcast patching needs in video studios, sports production trucks, and ENG vans. This cable meets the standards for SMPTE 2082-1 and is capable of carrying 12G-SDI UHD video signals for 4K video formats.
The cable utilizes a flexible and lightweight Belden 4505R silver-plated copper RG59 cable along with Switchcraft UHD precision mid-size video plugs. Laird certifies this cable to work at a maximum transmission distance of 150 for 12G-SDI, even though Belden may show this distance as 208 Feet.
