Sony TMTAHXC Overview
The Sony Teleprompter Adapter TA-HXC provides power to a large teleprompter for studio and remote field production applications. Designed for the Sony HSC-300/HXC-100 Series HD/SD System Cameras, the adapter eliminates the need for an additional teleprompter power source, thus providing for portable camera flexibility with studio camera teleprompter features.
The Adapter is designed as a separate unit, fully transparent to camera operation. It is connected directly to the triax camera cable (looped through) and extracts teleprompter DC power. The 180 VDC from the CCU is converted to 12 VDC to power the teleprompter, eliminating the need for additional power source at the camera location.
