The Canon CN-E 50mm T1.3 L F Cine Lens is an EF-mount standard-width lens for Canon`s C-series cinema cameras, full-frame EOS DSLRs, and any video-capable camera that accepts EF-mount lenses. The aperture is a fast T1.3 that lets you get superior shots in low light. The diaphragm is made up of 11-blades and is as round as can be, and along with the fast aperture it can produce impressive bokeh and beautiful circular highlights. The diaphragm ring is stepless, super-smooth, and fully manual, even when used with a DSLR, offering an evermore accurate handle.

The CN-E 50 was released with two complementary relatives, the CN-E 24mm and CN-E 85mm. All three lenses share the same front diameter, form factor, optical design, placement of gear rings, and mechanical construction. Because of the identical characteristics, one lens can be swapped with another easily, even when geared accessories are involved.

Intended for the working professional, the EF Cinema Prime CN-E50mm T1.3 L F lens has markings on angled surfaces on both sides of the precise, 300° rotatable barrel, making it easy to read focus and aperture settings from behind or either side of the camera. Focus markings can be switched from standard labeling to metric. The control rings are engineered to maintain the proper amount of resistance with consistent operating torque.

Designed to fulfill contemporary 4K production standards with its sharp optics, this lens features a full-frame imaging circle in a lightweight, compact design which sports a fast aperture that`s ideal for low-light shooting. It also features a very rounded 11-blade aperture diaphragm for beautiful background blur and innovative glass construction that counteracts barrel expansion and contraction to avoid temperature induced marking discrepancies.
