The ZEISS Front Lens Cap serves as a replacement cap for use with any of the ZEISS compact prime (CP/CP.2) cine lenses utilizing both EF and PL mounts. The cap protects the front lens element from dust and scratches when not in use.
Lens cap will not fit the 50mm/T2.1 Macro lens, which has a larger (134mm) front diameter than the other CP/CP.2 lenses (114mm).
