The Wooden Camera ARRI LPL Mount for RED RANGER attaches directly to the camera to accept ARRI LPL mount (Large Positive Lock) Signature Prime lenses. It s compatible with RED RANGER BRAINs that feature a full-frame, VistaVision-size sensor, such as the MONSTRO. It s also compatible with the ARRI LPL to PL adapter, which will allow adapting PL-mount lenses.
The mount has an external 4-pin LEMO port that is expected to support LDS-2 metadata when LDS-2 metadata workflows are created, in which case you ll be able to connect a metadata recorder to this port. In the meantime, this port will support Cooke/i metadata when used with the ARRI Signature Prime SUP 2.1 lenses.
A stackable shim set is included for adjusting thickness.
