MOVMAX Hurricane Rain Deflector Pro Overview
Add this all-in-one matte box and rain deflector to your camera when shooting in inclement weather with this Hurricane Pro Rain Deflector Matte Box from MOVMAX. This combination of matte box and rain deflector provides protection for your lens using a standard matte box, oil/waterproof glass, a top flag, and a fan that removes water and fog from the glass using efficient air flow. A flight case is included to store and transport the kit.
Standard Matte Box
The Hurricane Pro features a standard matte box that clamps onto your lens using one of the included 95, 110, or 114mm lens adapters. It can also be mounted onto a rod system using the included 15mm LWS/19mm Studio rod clamp. A carbon fiber top flag can tilt up and down to protect your lens from sunlight. Two filter holders are included to insert 4 x 4" or 4 x 5.65" filters.
Rain Deflector with Waterproof Glass
The waterproof, oilproof glass installs into the matte box to protect the lens. The built-in fan on top of the matte box provides anti-fog and anti-moisture control. The fan has three settings, 50%, 100%, and off. It is powered using a separately available D-Tap power source using the included 2-pin to D-Tap power cable.
Remote Control
The included wireless remote control can control the fan speed up to 50' away. It features an extendable antenna and a protective housing used to mount it onto your rig. A spare remote is also included in the kit.
