IRIX 150mm T3.0 Macro 1:1 Lens (MFT, Meters)

This is my first dedicated cinema lens and I think I've made the right choice. The sharpness of this lens is comparable to any of my Canon L glass and that is saying a lot. The build quality is great and both focus and iris rings are smooth. The focus ring has the perfect amount of resistance. It's very sharp even wide open. Stop down to around T4 and it's as sharp as it gets. Paired with my XT-3 and the reach you get is insane. Make sure you use this on a tripod and the lens well supported. It is heavy and it's not a lens to be used handheld. I use this a lot for product shots and the close focus allow me to get very close and you can get some insane shots. You'll need a lot of light for T16 and above. It's also amazing for photos. The only thing I've found is the EF mount is a bit loose on my EF to X mount adapter. Other Canon lenses do not have the same problem. I also wish the focus scale letters can be a bit bigger for easier reading. Other than that this is a superb lens at the price point and quite a unique lens in the market. I'm looking forward to other lenses from Irix in the future.
