IRIX 30mm T1.5 Cine (ft) Overview

Designed for cine-style image capture and covering up to full-frame size sensors that shoot up to 8K video, the white Canon EF-mount from IRIX incorporates multiple advanced internal and external design features. External features include a 95mm front diameter, 0.8 MOD gears, luminous focus marks in feet, and two locations to attach a 1/4" -20 support foot. Internally, the 11-blade iris produces a smooth, rounded bokeh, and five seals protect against inclement weather and dust.

To help eliminate aberrations and distortion, the IRIX 30mm T1.5 Cine Lens is constructed with an 11-blade iris, low focus breathing, and a protective nano-coating. This lens has 180° of focus and 75° of iris rotation, an 86mm front filter thread, and it includes front and rear caps.

Cinematic Look

The IRIX Cine 30mm is a wide 43.3mm full-frame lens that uses 13 optical elements to create crisp cinematic shots in resolutions up to 8K while keeping the focus breathing at a minimum. This lens features a relatively fast T1.5 maximum aperture and can be stopped down to T16.

Wide-Angle Lens

Ideal for interviews and medium-wide shots of your subject, the IRIX Cine 30mm produces a 45mm-equivalent when using a cropped sensor.

Engraved markings on the lens have been filled with UV-reactive paint, so filming in difficult lighting conditions becomes much easier.

The product is equipped with a Magnetic Mounting System (MMS) that lets you connect accessories such as magnetic filters from the Irix Edge lineup or an optional lens hood.
