NiSi ATHENA PRIME 50mm T1.9 Full-Frame Lens (L Mount, Drop-In Filter)

Every YouTuber and their mother was saying how amazing these lenses are. And for the price they are pretty good. But the take-away is for the price. Between their housing and what people are saying should these be compared to Arri Signature Primes? Maybe. Is that what I am comparing them next to? Yes. Are they even remotely close to ASP? They are flat lifeless lenses that cannot stack up against Arri, Cooke, Angenieux, Zeiss, or other high end glass. If we start to compare to Tokina Vista Primes they start to compete more. But I would still choose a Vista over these. In the world of low end cinema glass they do punch above their price tag. I'd place them in the highest level of the low level glass. But hearing people compare them to high end glass is just not a correct statement these are NOT in the same league. Which for the price they shouldn't be and they are not. If you are looking for a great start-your-career set these could be it. But if you are looking for career long lenses keep saving and buy higher end.
