SLR Magic 2x Anamorphot-CINE Lens Set with 35, 50, 70mm Lenses (MFT Mount)

I've wanted these for a long time now. I made due with the same janky projection lens anamorphic setup that so many other people have used, but there were always serious issues that had to be dealt with. These lenses solve most of those issues and deliver a look that I would summarize as Paul Thomas Anderson on a budget. Absolutely gorgeous, with lovely oval bokeh, classic blue flares and character everywhere. The 35mm absolutely has distortion, but it also absolutely resembles the classic anamorphic look, so you love it. The 50mm and 70mm lenses are undeniably stunning, with virtually zero distortion. With the price that has these for right now, it's a perfect time to get a set and start filming some incredibly beautiful films. There's only two things I don't like about the lenses. First is the focus ring, which breathes out as you focus. Poor design but workable. Second is the pathetic attempt at a Pelican case that they come in. Thin plastic junk that cracks upon the first sharp impact. I replaced it with the real thing immediately. Otherwise they're phenomenal lenses.

Focus ring is bad. Cannot put a follow focus on it, it screws so far that to comes off the follow focus gears... This does not work with a follow focus or a matte box.. The focus ring is too close to the front...

Shot a mini series with these lenses and Blackmagic Pocket 4K, bought them PL so I van use them with other cameras and PL to MFT adapter. They worked great, got beautiful cinematography, with a lot of personality. Used them with RONIN and MOZA AIR without an issue. I would recommend getting getting diopters so focus distance can be closer, and get full range with them.

Have only tested with a small SLR and not on a cinema camera yet. The build quality appears pretty solid. The 35mm has serious barrel distortion, reminds me of the wider Kowa's. The 50mm has way less barrel distortion and the 70 appears to have almost none. Downside is the rotating front element as well as the breathing on the lens and image. For the money this does seem like a quality product.
