JVC HZ-HM Overview
The JVC Remote Lens Control for GY-HM600 & GY-HM650 Cameras plugs into the 2.5mm LANC connector on the camera and remotely operates zoom, focus, the iris, and record start/stop. This controller is ideal for when the camera is mounted on a tripod, jib, crane, or boom. (An optional 2.5mm extension cable is required when using a jib, crane, or boom.)
Control Functions
- A: auto focus toggle
- DATA: toggles on-screen display
- F-: iris open
- F+: iris close
- ON: auto iris toggle
- R: record (a red LED illuminates during recording)
- FOCUS: focus rocker
- Zoom is achieved via a wide sweep variable rocker control
