The battery plate mounts directly onto your monitor using included captive mounting screws, and it provides power to the monitor from a separately available standard or micro-sized Gold mount battery.
The battery plate also features two D-Tap outputs that provide 11 to 17 VDC of power for additional accessories. The ports have a 5.8V digital E-fuse that is resettable, providing current protection that will shut the ports down if they are overloaded, without affecting the monitor power.
